Peter Gade's victory was not in doubt, but George Rimarcdi, the sensation with this Danish Open tagged along, and made Peter Gade work for the prize money.

Ladies' Singles - final

  ZHOU Mi, CHN
  - Camilla MARTIN, DEN                   1-11, 11-6, 11-7
Zhou Mi startet out by loosing the first game to a well playing Camilla Martin. Camilla played with a bandage because of a leg problem, but that was not the only reason, Zhou Mi got into the game at 5-1 in the second game. Camilla stated after the match, that it was she who lost - not Zhou that won, even though the chinese played very well.
