The Match

The match was short and very fast. Only a handful of long rallies in the whole match - most in the 2. game. In the first game, the koreans gained at 5-0 lead, and the danes only managed to get 3 points, before it was over. In the beginning of the second game, at 1-1, the danes did put up a fight, but soon trailed 1-5. The final game was short. Kim/Ra scored all 7 point on the first serve, never once allowing Jens and Mette a chance.

Comments

We never got into the game, the danes said after the match. The koreans are really good, and furthermore the wind in the arena played tricks on us. But they feel, that they can beat Kim/Ra, if they can get their own game going. If they meet again soon, maybe in the Swiss Open, the result could be different.

Kim Dong-Moon had to play the Men's Doubles later, so the koreans had to postpone their press conference.
