The Semi FinalsMost of this years draws has a lot of familiar faces participating, compared with last year's All England. Both in Ladies' Singles and Mixed Doubles, 3 out of 4 are back - more or less in the same possitions. Koreans Kim Dong-Moon/Ra Kyung-Min replaces Simon Archer/Gail Emms, England as opponents for Michael Sogaard/Rikke Olsen Denmark, Denmark. The order of play is a little different in this 2002 Ladies Singles - but the only "new" face is Camilla Martin, who replaces Gong Zhicao - the 2001 champion. The other draw is more varied. Last years Men's Singles runner up, Chen Hong, China, faces new opponents, as does Sigit Budiarto/Chandra Wijaya, Indonesia, in the Men's Doubles. Chinese pairs Gao Ling/Huang Sui and Wei Yili/Zhang Jiewen both are back with new opponents - This year an all Chinese semifinal draw.The Chinese are indeed strong this year. All 4 pairs in Ladies' Doubles, 3 of 4 in Singles, and a pair in each of Men's and Mixed Doubles. The rest are Denmark - 2 mixed pairs and a single, Korea with a mixed and a mens double pair,Indonesia with a men's single and men's doubles, and finally an english men's doubles pair.
