Peter Gade commentsAfter second round of Mens's SinglesHe told the press, that he had trouble in finding his game, as he put it, finding "my lines, get the feeling of the court". His opponent, Tam Kai Chuen of Hong Kong, also played very strong, he said. Peter has met Tam several times and have never lost. But Tam was getting better and better lately, Peter said. The very hard arena floor got into Peter's body, and wore him out he said. He had hoped he had gotten used to it by now, but obviously not. Asked about how he felt about the All England tradition of 2 rounds a day (today) he shook his head and said: "Crazy" No other tournament he had been in had to rounds in the main draw like this. It is very tough on the players - even though it the same for everybody. He felt the organizers ought to think about it - You have a very reputable tournament, but getting 30 odd of the worlds best Mens Singles together and then ask them to play to games a day? After two gruelling games he had to rest and get a little sleep before the next round, that is scheduled to start at UTC 18:05 (19:05 CET). He will meet Rony Augustinus of Indonesia. Also a player Peter knows very well.
