Attendance record at All EnglandWith number of advanced tickets and walk-in sold before this sundays finals at 19.732, this All England had been the most successful ever. The numbers does not include the expected ekstra tickets sold, due to indian Pulella Gopichands presence in the mens single final.Tom Mars, Championship Director, said that the figures shows it was a good decision to move the All England from the old Wembley Arean to the National Indoor Arean (the nia) in Birmingham. The record follows a few years with steadily, but slow increase in attendance. The last years at Wembley saw attendance figures fall from around 18.000 to 13.000 a year. The All England Championships moved to Birmingham in 1994.
